The Hyderabad Botanical garden is designed beautifully, it has got water bodies complementing its lush greenery of the place. Majorly the garden was created with the sole objective of generating awareness among the masses about varied species of flora and also it offers an ideal place to relax and enjoy the bliss naturally beautiful surroundings.
This one is a perfect place to spend a few refreshing moments away from the chaos and pollution of the cities. It acts as a stock house for plants which later are used for research and other scientific purposes.
This garden has more than 600 varied species of plants; it is bestowed with dense flora with few sparsely grown areas for visitors walking. Along with its vast flora variety, it has many birds and insects which further enhance the natural charm of this garden. The bamboo sector is the major attraction of the garden. All the bamboo does have a signboard on which scientific name and generic name of the trees are written on it.
The entry fees for this beautiful garden are very low; one can enjoy the mesmerizing setting of the garden alone or with friends. For children, the entry fee is around Rs. 20 and for adults it is around Rs.50. Timing is from 9:am to 8:00 PM. Entry fees might change slightly from time to time. Inside the garden, a drinking water facility is available and benches are available to sit and relax.
Botanical garden is easily accessible; to reach it, you can travel via Gachibowli Miyapur highway, which is near Madhapur. There are a number of buses from Secunderabad to Kondapur.
