Jus’ Onco brings affordable cancer care to Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Jus’ Onco Cancer Care, founded by Dr Vijayalakshmi Balakrishnan, has expanded its cancer-care network from Tamil Nadu to Hyderabad, aiming to make specialist-led treatment more accessible and affordable.
The new centre at Ucchvas Rehabilitation Centre, Banjara Hills, was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Gaurav Uppal, IAS, Secretary to Government, Planning Department, Telangana; Dr Ambati Rampapa Rao, Chairman, Ucchvas Rehabilitation Centres; and Dr Mukta Srinivasalu, former Director of MNJ Institute of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre.
The Hyderabad centre will provide oncology consultations and day-care treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy, with a focus on safety, comfort and quality care.
Dr Vijayalakshmi Balakrishnan said Jus’ Onco was established with the belief that expert cancer care should be affordable and accessible. She said the Hyderabad expansion would help reduce the burden of long-distance travel for patients undergoing repeated treatment.The organisation plans to expand its affordable, expert-led cancer-care network to more communities.
