Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused the Congress and BRS of a political nexus in land grabbing and appeasement politics, and called for Hindu unity to defeat both parties’ conspiracies. Addressing the media after the Rozgar Mela here on Saturday, he alleged that Congress leaders and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS MLA KT Rama Rao (KTR) share a greater bond.
The Congress has entered into bargaining with the BRS to curry favour with the AICC bosses in Delhi, he alleged. The Karimnagar MP accused the Congress-led government of sending political leaders to farmhouses as “pure political drama” and not taking action despite evidence against BRS leaders.
Sanjay said the Khairatabad by-election is inevitable and cautioned Hindu voters to watch out for conspiracies by the Congress, BRS and AIMIM. He alleged that the Congress is attempting to win the Khairatabad by-election by depending on the AIMIM to woo the Muslim votes, as it takes the Hindu votes for granted. He urged the Hindus to show their strength in the by-elections.
Further, he accused KTR of resorting to quid pro quo with childhood friends by striking several deals and starting lucrative businesses with others for personal gain. He cited how KTR had given Khanapur ticket to his college friend as part of such deals.
