An exquisite statue of Lord Ganesha made of gold and diamonds has been unveiled in Lal Bazar for the first time in India. This idol is made up of Panchaloha, a five-metal alloy, and it is coated with gold. The idol features 383,800 diamonds from America.
Depicting Lord Ganesha amidst the Dashavataras, the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, the idol shone brilliantly under electric lights during last night’s procession. The magnificent spectacle drew large crowds of devotees eager to witness the unique and dazzling deity in person.
