MLA KP Vivekanand inaugurates UGD works at Shapur Nagar
KP Vivekanand, the MLA of Quthbullapur constituency, inaugurated underground drainage works being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakh, at Shapur Nagar market on Monday.
Quthbullapur: KP Vivekanand, the MLA of Quthbullapur constituency, inaugurated underground drainage works being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakh, at Shapur Nagar market on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that he had been striving to provide permanent solutions to various issues in the constituency and the underground drainage works started at Shapur market was a party of his efforts in that direction. He said that efforts were also being made to reach various welfare schemes to poor families in the constituency.
Special measures were on to improve basic amenities iun every slum and colony in the constituency. The MLA informed that the drinking water issue had been largely addressed and promised to make Quthbullapur number one constituency in the state.
Among those who participated in the programme were local corporator Manthri Sathyanarayana, Jagadgirigutta corporator K Jagan, former corporators Pala Krishna, Suresh Reddy, ward members Siddiqui, Aruna, Shahanaz Begum, local leaders N Srinivas, C Srinivas Rao, Malla Reddy, Ram Reddy, P Bhaskar, R Madhu, Feroz, Amir Khan, Maqsood, Syed Rashid, Shafi, Lakshman, Anil, Ashok, Nandu, Raju, society members and others.
