Hyderabad: All India Adivasi Congress (AIAC) national coordinator B. Shobhan Babu has been appointed as the in-charge of the Adivasi Professional Group for Telangana and Maharashtra.
Shobhan Babu has been actively involved in Adivasi Congress programmes, election management, war-room operations, and student and youth initiatives. He has also participated in movements for Adivasi rights and various national-level meetings.
Hailing from Inugurthi Mandal in the erstwhile Warangal district, now in Mahabubabad district, Shobhan Babu played an active role in the Adivasi Professionals Conclave, also known as the Professional Adivasi Congress, held in New Delhi.
He also participated in the “Democracy Protection Satyagraha” organised by the Jammu & Kashmir Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Sangathan in Srinagar. His new responsibility will involve coordinating Adivasi professionals and strengthening the group’s activities in Telangana and Maharashtra.
