Amid speculation over her political future, former Minister Konda Surekha made significant remarks about BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) on Friday, describing him as a “very good person” and stating that she never had any differences with him during her tenure in the BRS.

While speaking to a section of media about her relationship with KCR, Surekha said he always received her and her family warmly and treated them with great dignity and respect whenever they met him. “I never had any differences with KCR,” she said.

Surekha also recalled how KCR had played a key role in facilitating the election of her husband, Konda Murali, as an MLC. According to her, KCR immediately agreed when they requested an MLC seat for Murali.

Recalling the incident, she said they had gone to KCR's residence to discuss the MLC seat when Kadiyam Srihari and several other leaders were present. She claimed that some leaders had tried to prevent Murali from securing the position. However, KCR intervened and directed the other aspirants to withdraw their nominations, paving the way for Murali's unanimous election as an MLC.

Surekha's remarks praising KCR have generated political interest, particularly against the backdrop of recent developments concerning her political future. With speculation continuing over her next political move, her comments have triggered fresh discussion about the possibility of her returning to the BRS if she decides to leave the Congress.
