Telangana assembly session to begin second day with question hour

The Assembly proceedings are expected to resume for the second consecutive day after a charged atmosphere inside and outside the House on Monday. Both Houses will meet at 10:00 a.m., with Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar presiding over the Assembly by calling the Question Hour.

It is likely that the house would debate on the objectionable remarks made by BRS MLC Tata Madhu about Speaker Gaddam Prasad today. Congress leaders have strongly reacted to the insults directed at the Speaker and have labeled it as a disgusting act.

They argue that criticizing the post of the Speaker in such a manner is contemptible and amounts to a breach of decorum. It is anticipated that the Congress will raise the issue of objectionable remarks made by the BRS leader and take a firm stance against him.
