Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cyber Crime police registered cases against social media news handle ‘Telugu Scribe’ for compromising Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s security by publishing details of his Delhi trip on its X handle. According to police, the Chief Security officer of Chief Minister K B Franklin, Intelligence Security Wing (ISW) lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad police stating that it came to notice that a social media account operating under the name “Telugu Scribe” on the platform X which unauthorisedly disclosed and publicly disseminated of a classified official communication concerning the security arrangements of the Chief Minister, who is a Z-Plus category protectee.

Chief Security Officer stated in his complaint that a wireless message bearing TP No. 72/2026 was issued from the Office of the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, addressed to the Commissioner of Police (Delhi), the Commissioners of Police of Hyderabad, and other designated security and protocol authorities. The message set out the minute-by-minute tour programme of A Revanth Reddy, for his visit to New Delhi and expressly recorded that the Chief Minister is under ‘Z-Plus’ category security, directed specific bandobust arrangements, disclosed the personal mobile number of the Chief Security Officer to the CM, and recorded the Chief Minister’s blood group for medical exigencies,” the CSO said. “Telugu Scribe” on the platform ‘X’ published a photographic reproduction of this classified wireless message, making restricted operational security details, including live movement timings, transport arrangements, the CSO’s direct contact number, and the protector’s medical particulars, available in the public domain in real time, while the movement was still underway. This document was never released, cleared, or authorised for public circulation. ,” CMO officials said in their complaint.
