Village devpt declining under Cong rule: Ex MLA
Shadnagar: Former MLA Anjaiah Yadav criticised that while villages saw development and sanitation under BRS’s Palle Pragathi programme, the situation in villages had deteriorated under Congress rule. Yadav participated in a BRS-led ‘Congress Pending Cards’ campaign in Nandigama on Sunday, distributing cards door-to-door. He also placed Pending Cards at the statues of Ambedkar and Gandhi.
After inspecting the sanitation conditions in the village, he noted that people are facing difficulties with garbage collection, drainage, and basic cleanliness. He reminded that during the BRS government, Palle Pragathi gave special importance to sanitation, greenery, and infrastructure. “The aim then was to develop every village as clean and green,” he said.
He announced that in the coming days, the campaign will be expanded to every village in the constituency to present the status of Congress promises before the people.
