Once we move out of the Murasu cyclone's influence after November 6 or 7, super-dry winds will once again sweep across Telangana, ushering in a prolonged dry spell. This will bring the first noticeable winter chill, with temperatures dropping to 13°C in some parts of West and Central Telangana. Hyderabad will also experience a dip in temperatures after November 7, with the mercury expected to touch 14°C in a few places,” Balaji said. elangana recorded a cumulative rainfall deficit of 24 per cent between June and October 2026, partly attributed to El Niño conditions. However, the State received some rainfall last week due to Cyclone Arnab.
