Karimnagar: Alphores School student excels in state-level chess tourney
Karimnagar: An Alphores E-Techno School student has secured second place and the runner-up trophy in the state-level chess competitions, bringing pride to the school.
The Telangana State Chess Association conducted the state-level chess competitions in Hyderabad from September 18 to 20. G. Shivas, a Class VIII student of Alfores E-Techno School, Kothapalli, secured second place in the Under-15 Boys category and won the silver medal and runner-up trophy.Expressing happiness over the student’s achievement, Dr V Narender Reddy, Chairman of Alphores Educational Institutions congratulated him.
He wished the student continued success and encouraged him to maintain the same winning spirit in future competitions.
