Khammam: BRS leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra on Wednesday urged eligible graduates to enrol as voters for the upcoming elections to two Graduates’ constituencies of the State Legislative Council.
Ravichandra said elections to the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal and Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates’ constituencies were scheduled to be held in March next year.
He appealed to eligible graduates from the erstwhile districts covered by the two constituencies to submit Form-18 and complete the voter enrolment process either online or offline by November 6.
Under the slogan “Our Vote, Our Right”, graduates who had completed a degree or an equivalent diploma by November 2023 should enrol themselves as voters, he said. Ravichandra also clarified that those who had voted in previous Graduates’ MLC elections would have to re-enrol their names for the forthcoming elections.
Applicants should submit the required documents, including voter identity card, Aadhaar card, degree or graduate certificate, a passport-size photograph and mobile phone number, along with Form-18, he said. The MP urged all eligible graduates to make use of the enrolment opportunity and ensure that their names were included in the Graduates’ MLC electoral roll.
