Foundation laid for electrical sub-station

Nellore: NelloreRural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy called upon the cadre of TDP, Jana Sena and BJP to work with a single objective of ensuring victory for alliance candidates wherever they contest in the upcoming local body elections.

Along with TDP State spokesperson Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy and TDP allied parties leaders, he laid foundation stone for a electrical sub-station being constructed with Rs 4 crore at Vengala Rao Nagar in 32nd division of Nellore rural constituency on Friday. He said the sub-station would help to provide quality and uninterrupted power supply to NCC Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Housing Board Colony, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Chaitanyapuri Colony and Simhapuri Colony.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the coalition government, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, extending support for development of Nellore Rural constituency in all fronts. At the same time, TDP and its allied parties should strive hard for securing most of divisions against the 36 in the rural constituency, he added.

The MLA appealed to people to support NDA candidates in local body elections and ensure a decisive victory for the alliance in all 72 divisions of Nellore Municipal Corporation. He also appealed to voters to give the alliance’s mayoral candidate a mandate with a majority of one lakh votes.
