Nizamabad: Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana has urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to sanction funds for various development works in Nizamabad city. He met the Chief Minister at the Assembly on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum outlining the constituency’s requirements.

The MLA sought Rs 200-crore special development fund for Nizamabad and requested sanction of a Young India Integrated School and a Pharmacy College at Telangana University.

He also urged the government to sanction outer ring roads to ease traffic congestion and implement the Master Plan for Indur. He sought pending bills for Kalabharathi, modernisation of Rajaram Stadium, and an indoor stadium.

Dhanpal further requested development of Indur Khilla Ramalayam, infrastructure improvements at the District General Hospital and modernisation of the Nizamabad bus stand.
