Prof Sujatha takes charge as SU academic audit cell director

Karimnagar: Prof Surepalli Sujatha has assumed charge as the new Director of the Academic Audit Cell at Satavahana University (SU). Vice-Chancellor Prof Umesh Kumar formally handed over the charge to Prof Sujatha at the university’s administrative building on Wednesday. Registrar Prof Satish Kumar and VC OSD Dr D. Harikanth were present on the occasion. The Vice-Chancellor congratulated Prof Sujatha and wished her success in her new responsibility. Speaking after taking charge, Prof Sujatha said she would focus on improving academic standards and ensuring the effective implementation of academic activities across the university.

Prof Sujatha has earlier served as Dean of Social Sciences, Principal of the Arts College and Director of the Directorate of Admissions. She is currently Head of the Department of Sociology and UGC Affairs Nodal Officer.

Faculty members, non-teaching staff and students congratulated her on the new assignment.
