Ongole: The NDA held Har Ghar Tiranga programmes in Ongole on Thursday as part of the national campaign.
A special programme was held at Rice College in the city, where students were given awareness on patriotism, national unity, and responsibility towards the country. The significance of the national flag, the meaning of its three colours, the importance of the Ashoka Chakra, and the proper way to respect the flag were explained to the students.
BJP national secretary Anil Antony attended as chief guest and addressed the students. He told them that the future of the country is in the hands of the youth. Twenty Point Programme Implementation Committee chairman Lanka Dinakar, BJP Prakasam district president Seggam Srinivasarao, state cells co-convener Nidamanuru Kalyan Chakravarthy, and district in-charge Bharat Kumar also spoke on the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Har Ghar Tiranga state convener Gudise Devanand, co-convener PV Sivareddy, and district convener Kavuru Vasu also attended the programmes.
