Rajamahendravaram: A 22-year-old software engineer died on the spot when an APSRTC bus collided with the two-wheeler driven by her father near a culvert in front of Dowleswaram police station on Saturday. Her father sustained injury to his left elbow.
The deceased, Shambhavi, was working as a software engineer in Visakhapatnam. The accident took place when her father Gundarapu Govindaraju (46), a resident of Adilakshmi Nagar in Ravulapalem, was taking her to Rajamahendravaram railway station on Saturday.
Dowleswaram police registered a case and took up investigation.
