Rajahmundry: The birth anniversary of BJP ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was celebrated in a grand manner at the BJP East Godavari district office here on Thursday under the leadership of district president Pikki Nagendra.
BJP leaders paid floral tributes to Upadhyaya and recalled his contribution to the party and the nation. Speaking at the programme, State OBC Morcha president Rongala Gopi Srinivas said Upadhyaya had dedicated his life to the principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya. He described him as an ideological guide of the BJP who remained committed to values and worked for the welfare of the last person in society.
