Tirumala: Sri Malayappa Swamy blessed His devotees on Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam in Tirumala on Thursday. The processional deity atop the pearl canopy donned the guise of ‘‘Sri Krishna climbing ladder to steal butter from pot’.
Cultural programmes presented in front of the vahana seva attracted devotees. 547 artists from 21 cultural troupes representing nine States showcased their traditional folk arts and dance forms, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the country. People lauded the traditional dance of Halakki Vokkaliga tribal community.
