Tirumala: TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary has directed all departments to work in close coordination to conduct the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams with exceptional enthusiasm, mirroring the success of the recently concluded Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
Reviewing arrangements at Tirumala along with JEO Prabhala Gopinath and CVSO Muralikrishna, the Additional EO noted that a 20% surge in pilgrim turnout is anticipated because the festival coincides with holidays.
Consequently, advanced arrangements are underway for Annaprasadam, procurement, and transport logistics. Building on feedback from the previous fete, priority will firmly remain with common devotees.
During the Salakatla fete, average daily darshan reached 73,000 pilgrims, with waiting times restricted to 5–8 hours through efficient planning. Authorities will impose necessary restrictions on VIP darshans whenever required to minimize delays.
Furthermore, security, Vahana Sevas, SVBC live telecasts, and cultural programs are being seamlessly synchronized. Given the possibility of October rains, precautionary measures are being coordinated with the district administration, police, and NDRF services.
The Additional EO urged devotees to rely strictly on official information issued through TTD’s authorized platforms when planning their travel and spiritual itineraries, ensuring a safe and profoundly devotional atmosphere for all visiting pilgrims.
