32 students of Nunna school selected for SGF tourneys

Thirty-two students from PM SHRI Zilla Parishad High School in Nunna, Vijayawada Rural, have been selected to represent the erstwhile Krishna district in the 70th SGF Inter-District Tournaments for rugby, judo, and squash.

Vijayawada: As many as 32 boys and girls of PM SHRI Zilla Parishad High School at Nunna in Vijayawada Rural mandal of NTR district have been selected to participate in the 70th School Games Federation (SGF) Inter-District Tournaments in rugby, judo and squash. They will represent the erstwhile Krishna district at the state-level tournaments. Of the selected students, 12 will participate in rugby in the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories, 10 in judo in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories, and another 10 in squash in the Under-19 category.
School Headmaster Surapaneni Ravi Prasad congratulated the students on their selection and appreciated Physical Education teachers T Vijay Varma and T Srilatha for providing special training and guidance to them.
School Management Committee (SMC) Chairperson Mullangi Sonia and Vice-Chairperson Modati Lakshminarayana also congratulated the students and teachers on their achievement.
First Assistant D Gopinath, Staff Secretaries P Nageswara Rao and CHBV Padmavaji, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff, participated in the programme.
