Vijayawada: Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Monday released online tickets for special Arjitha sevas to be performed during the Dasara Sharannavarathri festivities at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri from October 11 to 20. The tickets were made available through the State government’s ‘Mana Mitra’ WhatsApp Governance service at 9552300009, with a limited number of tickets earmarked for devotees.
Devotees can book tickets in advance to participate in special Kumkumarchana, Chandi Homam, Devi Khadgamala Archana and Sri Chakra Navavarana Archana. Earlier, temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi), Executive Officer VK Seena Naik and priests met the Minister and presented him with the first official invitation for the Dasara festivities.
They also offered him the Goddess’s Sesha Vastram and Theertha prasadam. Temple priests L Durga Prasad, B Shankara Shandilya and R Srinivasa Sastry, along with others, were present. Meanwhile, Endowments Commissioner K Ramachandra Mohan on Monday inspected Dasara arrangements ahead of the Sharannavarathri festivities from October 11 to 20. Accompanied by temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi) and Executive Officer VK Seena Naik, he reviewed the ghat road, landslide safety measures, new puja mandapam and newly constructed laddu preparation building.
