Andhra Pradesh: OSLO transport sea ship arrives Visakapatnam port on Monday

A huge ship arrived at the port of Visakhapatnam in the district. The Oslo, the largest cargo ship, arrived in Port Inner Harbour on Monday. The ship is 229.20 meters long and has a beam of 38 meters. It is learnt that Visakhapatnam port authorities conducted a simulation study in Singapore last year to bring heavy ships into the Inner Harbour.

When this huge ship reached the port this morning, the authorities gave the seventh berth. The Oslo heavy carrier left the port of Richard Bay in South Africa and reached the port of Visakhapatnam with steam coal. The cargo ship has attracted the viewers. Port officials felt it is a great thing that a cargo ship with such a heavy load has arrived for the first time in the history of the Visakapatnam port.
