APFA invites players to take part in SPA Election 2026
Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Football Association (APFA) invites eligible players to participate in the State Players’ Association (SPA) election process for the year 2026.
As per the APFA Constitution, a player is eligible for SPA membership if they are 18 years of age or older and have represented Andhra Pradesh at the senior level in men’s or women’s football at least once, represented AP in 5 or more age-group level matches in men’s or women’s football, represented any Andhra Pradesh club in the state Women’s League for a minimum of 13 matches or are eligible to be a member of the AIFF National Player Association.
The SPA will elect 15 representatives, including a minimum of 5 women representatives, as provided under the APFA constitution.
The SPA Election 2026 is scheduled to be held on 11 October 2026.
