According to the official results released at 10 pm on Tuesday, the Telugu Desam Party emerged as the single largest party, winning 64 wards. Its allies, Jana Sena and the BJP, secured 26 and eight seats respectively, taking the alliance’s total tally to 98. However, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was restricted to just 13 seats, indicating a setback for the opposition. Independent candidates secured eight wards, while the Communist Party of India (CPI) won one seat.

The election victory certificate was handed over to Mukka Sravani. With the issuance of the certificate, a key stage in the mayoral election process was completed. Meanwhile, the ward-wise results reflected the TDP’s continued dominance across the city, with Jana Sena also making a strong contribution to the alliance’s impressive victory. The BJP’s eight-seat victory further strengthened the alliance’s position in the civic body.
Independent candidates emerged victorious in wards 36, 39, 41, 73, 86, 98, 106 and 118. CPI candidate Mokalla Krishnaiah won ward 105.
While the results of 109 wards were declared by 9 pm on Tuesday, the final report, released an hour later, confirmed the winners and revealed party affiliations in all 120 wards.
