Summer art camp for children starts at Cultural Centre
Summer art camp for children started at the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) at their Moghalrajapuram premises on Wednesday. Artists from Bangalore, Chitra Kalaparishat, will be training the children who have joined the five-day training camp, said CCVA CEO Dr Sivanagi Reddy.

He said that the summer art training camp comprises of Mache Mask Making, Thematic Illustrations and 3D Clay Modeling. Trainers from the Karnataka Chitra Kalaparishat, Bengaluru Rekha Krishna Murthy and Chandana will train the children in Paper Mache Mask Making. Around 20 children participated in the camp. He further briefed on the summer art camp and said that all the art works created in the camp would be exhibited on April 30 at CCVA.
The Art Camp was inaugurated by Minakshi Arts and Crafts Welfare Society chairperson K Minakshi. The special guests for the occasion were Andhra Art Academy secretary Golla Narayana Rao, cultural representative city BJP unit Dupati Sridevi and ophthalmologist Swapna.
