Kakinada: The Muslim leaders urged the Home Minister China Rajappa and District Collector Kartikeya Mishra to set up Closed Circuit cameras in the mosques in the district. The Muslim leaders and elders met the Collector Mishra and the Home Minister Rajappa at the Collectorate on Tuesday evening and urged them to sanction an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the murdered religious head in the Lala Cheruvu Mosque at Rajahmundry a month ago.

They further earnestly asked the Minister to take necessary measures to repair the Mosque and asked them to set up the cameras. Minority Corporation former director Sheik Subhani, Chan Basha, MD Kader Khan, MD Nayeem among others who met the Collector and the Deputy CM.
