Hyderabad: The Samaikya Sankharavam, which was to be launched by YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy from Kuppam in Chittoor district on November 26, has been postponed in wake of the devastation caused by Helen cyclone. Jagan instead has decided to visit the districts that were badly affected due to cyclone on November 26 and 27.

Speaking to media persons here, party senior leader Amarnath Reddy said the party felt that, at this point of time, they should stand by the farmers and those affected by the cyclone. However, from November 28 onwards, Jagan will embark on the yatra to expose the double standards adopted by the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of bifurcation of the State.

The yatra would cover all the districts of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema and parts of Telangana districts, they said.

Jagan would also meet the bereaved families, whose kith and kin allegedly died due to shock after hearing the tragic death of his father, former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy in September 2009, they added.
