Lagadapati has a new name!

Lagadapati Rajagopal - this name has become more popular than any names in the recent days.

His pepper spray episode made him so popular that he was compared with Andhra Bhagat Singh. His efforts in support of Samaikyandhra has made him a hero in the Seemandhra region. In fact, people of Seemandhra region are of the view that though Lagadapati's efforts to keep the state united failed, he succeeded in fighting for the cause till the last day of Parliament.

And his announcement of quitting politics as promised earlier has made him strong. His supporters have come up with a new name for his sacrifice as 'Thyagaseeli'.

Several posters and banners have been erected in Vijayawada with the images of Lagadapati captioned 'Thyagaseeli'. Interestingly, the banners have no party names or symbols.

However, some other posters too that have come up in the recent past raising eyebrows - Posters that say Lagadapati should come back to politics. The hoarding are set up in different places with different names. One poster at the posh Benj Circle (Vijayawada) bears the name of Vasantha Prasad.
