Delhi: Digvijay Singh, The Congress Party In charge of Andhra Pradesh State Affairs on Wednesday said that KCR had earlier promised to merge TRS party in Congress Party following the state bifurcation. He addressed the media in New Delhi and said it was the TRS party affair to reject the merger.
Further, he denied speaking anything on the very matter. Nevertheless, Diggy welcomed the committee formed by TRS for alliance with other parties.
It is worth mentioning here that KCR late on Monday has said that TRS Party will not be merged in Congress Party as there was a demand from the party cadre and activists for the same. However, he opened doors for all parties through a five member committee for the alliance with TRS Party.
