Jagan poised over winning and said that the verdict would be decisive and one-sided in favour of YSRCP. Jagan said YSRCP would support any party that would maintain the interests of Seemandhra. When asked who he would support,Jagan said that it was not Modi, Tom, Dick or Harry and his concern was the development of the new state. Further, he said that YSRCP would not surrender to Delhi like Chandrababu Naidu but would play a pivotal role in the formation of the government at the Centre and maintain Telugu pride.
While blaming the Congress Party for dividing the state irrationally, Jagan said that the Centre had taken Hyderabad away from Seemandhra and had not named where the new capital would be and how much funds it would give.
