He said that for the sake of moral values, he and his mother left the Congress Party, four years before. He recollected that statements of many and said that both of them were warned that they would by smashed by hitting a hill like Congress Party, while stating that the fight against the ruling government was the toughest task.

He said that at that particular moment his soul said him that a person has to live up to his morals whether he was in power or not. Further, he said that he listened to his soul. He said that he was abiding by the morals and ethics and continues the same forever. Jagan said that he has fought against the corruption and dishonesty of Congress Party for as many as 4 years. CBI, the powerful weapon, was improperly utilised against him, added Jagan.

YS Jagan said that he was sent to the jail for 16 months, just with an intention to destroy the YSR Congress Party. Nevertheless, added Jagan that no member of the Party has left him. He said that he was confident of winning the elections as he fought for four years in a never seen way against the injustice caused to the people. He said that it was only the YSRCP that has addressed many issues by fighting against the ruling government. He said that the difference between the win and loss was only 5L votes. He further said that God has given them 9 MPs and 67 MLAs, which was not a small figure, for sure.

YS Jagan said that he was asked by the party cadre to make false promises like Chandrababu Naidu during election campaigning. However, said Jagan that he would never do that. He said the ideology he believed in politics was trustworthiness and values. Further, he said that he would always practice them. Finally, he said that if the same are lost, a person cannot even become answerable to his own wife.
