Telangana: Who will be elected as Congress LP leader?

There is no doubt and fear for electing a Legislative Party leader of Congress party as far as Seemandhra is concerned, as not even a single candidate made his way to the state assembly. Nevertheless, when it comes to Telangana a few leaders have won the polls and the party would be sitting in the main opposition position. The role played by the leader of the opposition in democracy is equally important to that of the role played by the ruling party. Ultimately, it will be the Congress LP leader who would play the role of leader of opposition in Telangana state assembly.

There are a few leaders who eyed on the crucial post of LP leader. They include senior leaders like Jana Reddy, Geeta Reddy, DK Aruna, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. Of these aspirants, most of them hail from a single social community. So, the chances of others would obviously get diminished. According to the political analysts, the main fight would be between Jana Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy for the position of LP leader. Both of them have also presented themselves to the people during their campaigning as the Chief Ministerial candidates of the Congress Party. Who would win the race is the matter of concern, as of now. Whosoever may win the LP leader post, but, for him/her, facing KCR would not be an easy task as such!!
