As many as 220 people who were on Haj pilgrimage at the holy mosque died in the stampede.
Chandrababu said he's in touch with foreign officials to enquire about the whereabouts and safety of Muslim pilgrims from AP.
According to official sources, about 2200 people have gone to mecca from Andhra Pradesh.More details on their safety awaited.
