Vijayawada: Elaborate medical arrangements have been made for Amaravati Marathon to be held in Vijayawada on January 10, according Amaravati Marathon medical partner and Ramesh Hospitals managing director P Ramesh Babu.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, he said 20 consultants including anesthetists and critical care specialists would be leading the Quick Response Team with 225 trained medical and para medical staff to assist in medical emergencies. He said 10 ambulances and 10 motorcycles with medical volunteers would be deployed with defibrillators and emergency drugs to come to the aid of those who are taking part in the marathon within two minutes.
