YSRCP withdraws protest on Agri Gold issue

With the protests taking place by YSRCP in the AP Assembly over the issue of Agri Gold, the House was adjourned twice after the Opposition members surrounded the Speaker's podium, demanding immediate discussion.

The leader of Opposition and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy withdrew the party protest ion the Agri Gold issue in the Assembly on Monday after the government agreed to the debate post lunch. Jagan stated that the party would co-operate as the government is willing to debate on the issue after lunch.

YSR Congress party protests were criticized by the TDP legislator Thota Trimurthulu who stated that the Opposition is only propagating their party agenda and creating unnecessary ruckus rather than resolving people's problems. Condemning the protests for stalling Assembly proceedings, Thota Trimurthulu further said that the party is trying to save image as many YSRCP legislators have joined the TDP.
