Speaking on the occasion, the seer said Sarada Peetham would provide more cows and oxen to tribal farmers of Araku and Paderu free of cost in phases for their economic uplift and to bring them into the mainstream. 

Visakhapatnam: Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi, head of Sarada Peetham, performed special puja to Goddess Sarada here on Thursday. He also worshipped cows on the occasion. Later, he distributed eight cows and 14 pairs of oxen to tribal farmers free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion, the seer said Sarada Peetham would provide more cows and oxen to tribal farmers of Araku and Paderu free of cost in phases for their economic uplift and to bring them into the mainstream.
Underlining the need to propagate Hindu religion and dharma, Swaroopanandendra said he submitted a memorandum to TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao urging him to construct temples in tribal villages of the Agency area where religious conversions were reported. Sarada Peetham identified some villages for the purpose.
