Vijayawada: “I would become an entrepreneur to serve people as much as I can. Technically, I am looking into an opportunity to prove my mettle in developing things that make man’s life a lot easier,” said Mamidi Sai Akash, who claimed to have created a record of qualifying for as many as 5 IVY League Universities from India which are ranked best in the world. He said he chose to pursue BS at Stanford University, California after scoring top marks in the entrance tests.
Speaking to the reporters here on Saturday, Sai Akash said that he had been offered seats at as many as 16 Universities like California Institute of Technology, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, University of California Berkley, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, Michigan, Georgia Tech, University of Texas Austin, University of Washington, Illinois, University of California San Diego and a few more.
“I always aimed for Stanford since the University has produced many stalwarts in the field of Business and Technology. I am glad that I have made it to 5 BS Schools from India,” he said. Akash said he had scored first rank in the world in ACT test by gaining 36 points for a total of 36 points.
This was another record that he had achieved besides organising Mothers Blood Bank, a social organization, which has about 1.75 lakh members in it, he said. “Working systematically in a smarter way is what I say is my success formula. I strongly recommend everyone to not to work hard but work smarter,” he quipped.
Akash said he was offered free tuition, accommodation and travel tickets by all the above mentioned universities. He was congratulated by his family members and other well wishers, on this occasion.
