Essential items at doorstep from April 7
Encouraged by the success of the programme implemented on a pilot basis in West Godavari district, the State government is going to implement Mee Sarakulu Mee Chentake (your essential commodities at your door-step) programme in Anantapur district on April 7. The programme benefited over 10,000 beneficiaries in West Godavari district and going to benefit about 4,134 inĀ Anantapur district.
Anantapur: Encouraged by the success of the programme implemented on a pilot basis in West Godavari district, the State government is going to implement Mee Sarakulu Mee Chentake (your essential commodities at your door-step) programme in Anantapur district on April 7. The programme benefited over 10,000 beneficiaries in West Godavari district and going to benefit about 4,134 in Anantapur district.
The objective of the scheme is to supply essential commodities at the door-step of the aged and lepers, who could not go to the fair price shops to lift their quota of essential commodities. Village Revenue Officer is going to be held responsible for supply of the rations at the beneficiaries’ door-step. The members of the Janmabhoomi committees and elected peoples representatives will go to beneficiaries’ houses along with the officials and supply the rations.
