He was addressing a workshop on Neeru-Chettu at Vanguru village in Pedavegi mandal on Saturday evening. The Chief Minister said that development was possible only by raising the groundwater levels. He said in view of the depleting situation of ground water levels in the state, he was touring all the district to create awareness among the public.

This is the fourth district to conduct the workshop on Neeru-Pragathi. He said the most concerning issue is that the groundwater levels. In West Godavari, groundwater drastically depleted to 19.3 meters.
