​New Delhi: The "Southern Plans" of the BJP are being fine-tuned now that the elections to the five Assemblies have thrown some positive results for the BJP.
While the party would like to "work hard" to develop its cadres in both the Telugu States, the immediate focus will be on Telangana where the party has significant presence.
BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav told media here on Saturday that the party would work to make the BJP at least the main Opposition party in Telangana while it would try to ensure that it made significant gains in AP too.
Meanwhile, the party would work to fulfill all promises made to AP during bifurcation and work for its overall development. “People of AP are yearning for a special status and the BJP understands the same,” he said.
