AP Employees welcome Centre’s nod
The Andhra Pradesh Gazetted Officers Association president Krishnaiah, Revenue Employees Association president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu welcomed the issue of notification by the Centre on local status.
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Gazetted Officers Association president Krishnaiah, Revenue Employees Association president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu welcomed the issue of notification by the Centre on local status.
Krishnaiah said that they have been demanding the State government to address the local status issue from day one. “With the Centre’s notification, a major concern and nagging worry of the employees has been resolved,” he added.
Following the Centre’s notification, the State government decided to fast track the shifting of the administration. Speaking to The Hans India, an official said that the CS is expected to give final shape to the operational guidelines.
“A road map is being demanded by the employees. Once it gets approval from the Chief Minister, then the General Administration Department would notify the guidelines by the end of next week,” he added.
