Vijayawada: DGP J V Ramudu unveiled the plaque (foundation-lying stone) of the new office at the Police Commissionerate here on Tuesday. A new building for administrative purposes was proposed and is under construction at the Commissionerate.
He went around the building and suggested a few changes after enquiring about the plan. Police Commissioner D Gautam Sawang, Joint Commissioner P Hari Kumar and DCP (admin) G V G Ashok Kumar accompanied the DGP. Additional Deputy Police Commissioners, Assistant Police Commissioners, Inspectors and others were present.
