‘Debt redemption makes farmers self-reliant’

Amalapuram: Farmers Debt redemption scheme being implemented in the state of Andhra Pradesh ,making the farmers self reliant with confidence for productive output in agriculture and the distribution of redemption certificates in the villages revealing the ground realities o the farmers said Nimmala Rama Naidu, MLA, Palakol and State TDP Secretary .
While participating in debt redemption certificates distribution at Amalapuram along with Amalapuram MLA ,A.Ananda Rao on Wednesday , he said that earlier the Central government waived Rs 54,000 crore in the entire nation ,where as AP State government had waived Rs 24,000 crore in the State of Andhra Pradesh containing 13 districts.
He further said that only 10 percent farmers were covered in the earlier scheme, where as in the State 90 percent farmers were covered.
