Amaravati: Ministers P Pulla Rao and P Narayana assured the farmers that they would resolve the Lanka assigned lands issue as soon as possible.
Interacting with the farmers of Lanka lands at Lingayapalem in Amaravati capital region here on Tuesday, the Ministers said the government is keen on providing solution to the Lanka lands issue.
They said that the State government never rejected the proposal which would benefit the Lanka assignment land owners. Benefits under Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) would be extended to the land owners, the Ministers assured.
On this occasion, the leaders of farmers Shyam, Raju and M Luthor said that they have faith in local legislator Sravan Kumar.
They opposed Opposition Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s proposed tour on January 19.
They said that there was no need for Jagan to visit Amaravati capital villages. They said that all of them were happy as the government provided benefits to them.
Meanwhile, Minister Pulla Rao flayed Jaganmohan Reddy for posing hurdles to capital Amaravati developments e alleged that Jagan had planned to create disputes among the farmers.
Besides, Minister P Narayana said the government would accept if anyone came forward to provide land for capital construction under the land pooling scheme. He said that only 1400 acres of land is now required for capital needs.
Tadikonda MLA Sravan Kumar and several officials were present at the meeting.
