Similarly the Sub Collector of Metpally, another IAS officer, Musharraf Ali had kneeled before the Nizamabad MP and daughter of K Chandrasekhar Rao, K Kavitha, at the venue of the Republic Day parade in an undignified manner and put the prestige of IAS cadres to shame, Shabbir Ali said.

The senior Congress leader demanded appropriate against both the IAS officers for violation of Constitution and denigrating the prestige and reputation of IAS cadres.

He said justice could be done to thousands of job seekers from the State facing untold miseries in the Gulf nations due to deception and cheating by unscrupulous commission agents, only by an effective and empowered leadership of NRI department.

He also suggested strengthening of NAC centres for skill development trainings and there should be two to three centres in each district.

The NRI department should be empowered to deal all issues with regard to employment opportunities in Gulf nations, recruitment process and also Visa with consulates and also the Ministry of External Affairs.

The department should also coordinate all financial and legal affairs for the welfare of the gullible job seekers. “During the Congress regime, we could bring back thousands of people stranded in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries where thousands of Telangana people worked as domestic servants, electricians, plumbers, etc,” Shabbir Ali said.
