Tirupati: A programme on “Industry Awareness Program on Financial Support to MSMEs in ZED Certification Scheme” was organized on Saturday by Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) and Quality Council of India (QCI).
Tirupati: A programme on “Industry Awareness Program on Financial Support to MSMEs in ZED Certification Scheme” was organized on Saturday by Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) and Quality Council of India (QCI). This programme was the first of its kind at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
The program has been initiated on order to prepare the MSMEs of India to evolve and grow by attending adequate training.
The ZED Model will sensitize the MSMEs that the goods manufactured by them shall have Zero recall from the market at the same time Zero Effect on the Environment.
The maturity assessment model is certainly aims towards increasing the competitiveness within MSMEs.
The workshop was inaugurated by Damodhar, Plastic walls Industry. The President, Chambers of Commerce, A Manjunath highlighted some of the key benefits of a correctly implemented ZED Scheme by MSMEs that included improvement of credibility and image, improvement of customer satisfaction and better process integration.
He also insisted QCI to conduct more such workshops as these are necessary to build a quality culture essential for improving quality of life amongst the citizens.
The programme was conducted by faculty from QCI and attended by more than 50 participants from MSMEs. National Board for Quality Promotion, a constituent board of Quality Council of India is connecting with Chambers across all the States to drive this programme all over.
