Vizianagaram: The district administration launched an innovative programme to help the farmers. According to the programme, the revenue staff will visit the villages and provide services to the farmers at their door steps.
Collector Vivek Yadav launched the programme at Ramavaram village in Gantyada mandal of the district. He appealed the farmers to avail the services and solve their problems. MLA K Appala Naidu said that the government is facilitating the public to solve their problems.
It is learnt that farmers are facing many problems in updating their land ion webland portal and as a result they are unable to avail many schemes like crop loans, seeds on subsidy price, fertilisers and others.
Hence, the revenue staff would visit villages and receive grievances from farmers and solve them in the stipulated time. The revenue staff would visit the villages on every Thursday, Friday and meet the farmers.
