Parents oppose marriage, couple found dead on railway track

A couple committed suicide in Krishna district on Saturday after failing to convince their families for their marriage.

The couple, Mullangi Pathibabu and P Vijaya Lakshmi were cousins and had been in a relationship for a long time. According to the police, the reason behind their suicide might be that their parents refused to accept their marriage alliance.

The couple was found dead on the outskirts at Peda Avutapalle railway station. The police registered a case and sent their bodies for post-mortem.
